A Perfect 7-Day Bali Itinerary — Entirely by Scooter
One bike, one week, the whole island: a day-by-day route from Canggu's surf to Uluwatu's cliffs, with realistic ride times and where to stop.

Seven days, one scooter, zero tour buses. This is the itinerary we sketch for guests who ask "if it were your week, how would you ride it?" — built from our base in Dalung, where a weekly rental automatically saves you 10%.
Day 1 — Arrive & settle into Canggu
We deliver your bike to your villa (free around Dalung, Canggu, Umalas, and Seminyak). Ease in: a surf check at Batu Bolong, sunset at Echo Beach, dinner on Jalan Pantai Berawa. Ride time: 30 easy minutes.
Day 2 — Tanah Lot & the west coast
North along the coast road to the sea temple at Tanah Lot, with empty beaches at Nyanyi and Kedungu on the way. Time it for late afternoon — Tanah Lot at sunset is the postcard. ±35 km round trip.
Day 3 — Ubud & Tegallalang
Up through Mengwi and Payangan on quiet back roads, the approach the tour buses never take. Rice terraces, Campuhan Ridge at golden hour, dinner on Jalan Goutama. ±70 km round trip.
Day 4 — Bedugul lakes & Munduk
North into the cool highlands: the lakeside temple at Ulun Danu Beratan, then the waterfalls and clove forests around Munduk. Bring a light jacket — it's a different climate up there. ±100 km round trip.
Day 5 — Slow day: Seminyak & Jimbaran
Give your legs a rest. Late breakfast, shops and beach clubs in Seminyak, then a short evening run down to Jimbaran for seafood on the sand. ±30 km total.
Day 6 — The Kintamani climb
The long one: east and up to the rim of Mount Batur's caldera. Breakfast with the volcano, descend via the orange groves. Jacket essential, photos unavoidable, an early start non-negotiable. ±130 km round trip.
Day 7 — The Uluwatu finale
Cliffs, the clifftop temple, and the Kecak fire dance at sunset. Take the Nusa Dua bypass down, come home under the stars with the whole peninsula in your mirrors. ±70 km round trip.
The practical bits
- Bike choice: for this week, comfort wins — take the NMAX or PCX160. Both carry two adults and a daypack happily.
- Cost: 7 days on a PCX = Rp 980.000 − 10% = Rp 882.000 total — about the price of two island day-tours, except the bike is yours all week. Full pricing here.
- Included: 2 helmets, 2 raincoats, door delivery. Return with any fuel level — no top-up needed.
Book your week and start riding the version of Bali most visitors never see.
