Bali scooter rental prices, with nothing left out
Rates in Bali are quoted a dozen different ways, and the cheapest headline number is usually the one with the most attached to it. Here is what we charge, what it includes, and what the gap between Rp 60.000 and Rp 150.000 a day actually buys you.

Our rates, in full
Yamaha NMAX Neo Rp 150.000/day, Honda PCX160 Rp 140.000/day, Honda Stylo 160 and Yamaha Grand Filano Hybrid Rp 110.000/day. Those are 2026 bikes with current registration, and the price is the same whether you are in Canggu or Ubud — we do not charge by area. A week works out around 10% cheaper per day, a month around 25%, two months around 30%, and the discount is applied automatically at checkout.
What a month actually comes to
Thirty days on the Stylo 160 or Grand Filano is Rp 2.475.000 — about Rp 82.500 a day. The PCX160 is Rp 3.150.000, and the NMAX Neo Rp 3.375.000. Stay two months and the rate drops again. Nothing is added at handover: delivery is free, helmets and raincoats are included, and there is no deposit to find on the day.
Why some rentals look cheaper
A Rp 60.000 quote is usually an older bike, often five to eight years old, with tyres and brakes to match. The price frequently excludes delivery, charges for a second helmet, and requires your passport as security — which is both a real risk and, in practice, a way to make a dispute at the end harder to walk away from. None of that appears in the headline number, which is exactly the point of it.
The charge nobody quotes: how days are counted
Most rentals in Bali count calendar dates. Collect on the 14th, return on the 16th, and you are billed three days even though you had the bike for two. We count real 24-hour blocks from the moment the bike is in your hands, so the 14th to the 16th is two days — and you can bring it back up to three hours late without it counting as another day. On a short rental that difference is larger than the difference between our rate and a cheaper one.
What is included at every price
Two helmets and two raincoats, free delivery and collection anywhere we serve, and support on WhatsApp while you have the bike. Fuel is flexible: bring it back with whatever is in the tank. There is no deposit, no down payment and no card details taken — you pay in full when the bike is handed over, by cash, bank transfer or QRIS.
What you should still budget for
Petrol runs roughly Rp 20.000–30.000 a week for normal riding around one area, more if you are doing daily trips inland. Attended parking is Rp 2.000–5.000 at beaches and markets. If you are a foreign national you need an International Driving Permit with the motorcycle category — arrange it at home before you fly, it is cheaper and faster than sorting it here.
Common questions
How much does it cost to rent a scooter in Bali per day?
With us, Rp 110.000 to Rp 150.000 a day depending on the bike, with free delivery and no deposit. Across Bali generally you will see Rp 60.000 to Rp 200.000 — the low end is usually an older bike with delivery and extras charged separately.
Is it cheaper to rent by the month?
Considerably. A month is around 25% off the daily rate and two months around 30%, applied automatically. Thirty days on the Stylo 160 is Rp 2.475.000, which is about Rp 82.500 a day against Rp 110.000 for a single day.
Do I have to pay a deposit or leave my passport?
Not with us — no deposit, no down payment, and we never hold your passport. Leaving a passport as security is common practice in Bali and worth avoiding: it is your re-entry document, and it makes any disagreement at the end of the rental much harder to resolve on equal terms.
Are there hidden costs?
None from us. Delivery, collection, two helmets and two raincoats are all included, and fuel is flexible. The only things you spend on top are petrol, parking, and your own travel insurance.
Do prices change in high season?
No. The rates on this page are what you pay in July as much as in February. What does change in high season is availability — the fleet is small and books out, so a few days' notice helps.
