When you book we collect your name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, nationality, and — as required by Indonesian rental practice — copies of identity documents (KTP/SIM for Indonesian citizens; passport and IDP for foreign nationals). The contact form stores your name, email, and message.
2. Why we collect it
We use this data solely to operate your rental: verifying legal riding requirements, delivering the bike, contacting you about your booking, and meeting legal obligations. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
3. Document handling
Document copies are stored securely, accessed only by our staff for verification, and deleted after the rental period ends plus a short administrative window.
4. Communications
We contact you on WhatsApp and email about your booking. Newsletter emails are optional and only sent if you subscribed; unsubscribe anytime.
5. Cookies & analytics
The site uses a cookie to remember your language preference and basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand site usage. No advertising trackers.
6. Your rights
You may request a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting hello@balieasyride.com. We respond within 7 days.
