Scooter rental in Bali with no deposit

Most rentals in Bali ask for something before they hand over a key: a cash deposit, a down payment to hold the dates, or your passport kept in a drawer until you return the bike. We ask for none of it. Booking costs you nothing, and you pay the full rental price when the bike is in your hands.

What 'no deposit' actually means here

There is no security deposit, no down payment, and no card details taken at booking. When you submit the form nothing is charged — the booking is a request we confirm on WhatsApp. You pay once, in full, when we hand you the bike, and you choose how: cash, bank transfer, or QRIS.

We do not hold your passport

This is the part worth checking wherever you rent in Bali. Handing your original passport to a rental shop as collateral is common and it is a bad idea — you may need it for a hotel check-in, a domestic flight, or an immigration matter, and getting it back can become a negotiation. We photograph your passport and your International Driving Permit for the rental record and give them straight back. A copy is standard practice; your original is not collateral.

Why we can work this way

A deposit exists to cover the renter disappearing with the bike. We manage that differently: a small, well-maintained fleet we know unit by unit, delivery in person so we meet every renter, and documents recorded at handover. It suits us and it removes the single most common friction point travellers complain about.

What you are still responsible for

Being honest about the limits: normal wear and mechanical failure are ours — call us and we repair or swap the bike. Damage, loss or theft caused by negligence stays with the renter at fair repair cost, and that is set out in the rental terms. No deposit does not mean no responsibility; it means we do not hold your money or your documents while you ride.

Delivery is free as well

There is no delivery fee anywhere we serve — Canggu, Seminyak, Legian, Kuta, Denpasar, Sanur, Jimbaran, Ngurah Rai airport, Ubud and Gianyar — and no minimum rental period to qualify. The price on the bike is the price you pay.

Common questions

Do I really pay nothing when I book?

Correct. The booking form takes no payment and no card details. We confirm on WhatsApp, deliver the bike, and you pay the full amount then.

Will you keep my passport while I rent?

No. We photograph your passport and IDP for the rental record and hand the originals straight back. You should keep your passport with you.

What if I damage the bike?

Mechanical faults and normal wear are on us. Damage, loss or theft through negligence is the renter's responsibility at fair repair or replacement cost — the same as any rental, just without money held upfront.

Can I cancel without losing anything?

Yes. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the rental starts, and since nothing was charged at booking there is nothing to refund.
